Wedding :: Shannon + Paul

I think this is the part where I should mention that one of my new year's resolutions is to blog more. Great, now that that's out of the way, here is a snapshot of a great wedding that I had the pleasure of seconding shooting with Cary Pennington. :o)

Shannon and Paul had a lovely outdoor ceremony and wedding at Secluded Estates in Northern San Diego. And by secluded, I mean that I had no cell service there hahaha. ;o)

Wedding :: Victoria + Sean

Victoria and Sean were married at the beautiful Callaway Vineyard and Winery. It was a gorgeous day for a gorgeous couple. Really, don't they look like models? A huge thanks to Cary Pennington for having me out to second shoot with him!

This jazz cover band played some really cool music during cocktail hour...

Victoria and Sean had one of the coolest first dances I had ever seen. They danced to a great rendition of "Empire State of Mind". It was pure awesome. I still remember it.

Miramar Air Show 2011

I totally forgot to blog some photos I took at the Miramar Air Show this year. This was my third time going, and even though it's always a long and usually very hot day, I always have a great time. This year's seemed to fly by very quickly...and yes, after it was over, I had the strongest urge to watch "Top Gun" hahahaha! :o)

One of my favorite shots. I took one my first time there in the same plane that I really liked too. You just can't go wrong with some backlighting.

Tony and Jon with their zooms. My longest was my 135mm, so shooting there definitely made me want to get at least a 70-200mm.

And of course the shot that I go to Miramar for every year... ;o)

Wedding :: Nora + Oren

Nora and Oren were married at the beautiful Hungtington Beach Hyatt Hotel. I loved the classic details of this wedding! Thanks to the lovely Carrie McCluskey for having me along to shoot! :o)
