First Birthday Party :: Noah + Alyza

    These two had the most adorable first birthday party.  Their mom Cindy, with the help of Etsy, organized a fun-filled and colorful celebration for them filled with family and friends.  How cute are these outfits?!?!

     There were circus animals that were almost life-sized that made the theme really come alive.

     There was also a caricature artist on hand to make drawings of everyone.  He was amazing as you could really see the resemblance in every picture he drew!

     I don't think anyone left this party hungry.

     These personalized animal cracker boxes were such a cute touch!

Miramar Air Show 2011

I totally forgot to blog some photos I took at the Miramar Air Show this year. This was my third time going, and even though it's always a long and usually very hot day, I always have a great time. This year's seemed to fly by very quickly...and yes, after it was over, I had the strongest urge to watch "Top Gun" hahahaha! :o)

One of my favorite shots. I took one my first time there in the same plane that I really liked too. You just can't go wrong with some backlighting.

Tony and Jon with their zooms. My longest was my 135mm, so shooting there definitely made me want to get at least a 70-200mm.

Verdugo Bar - Mobile Mash-Up!

On a lazy weekend afternoon, one of my friends suggested we hit up Verdugo bar in Los Angeles, for their Mobile Mash-up event. I wasn't sure what to expect, but found out that it was pretty cool. The atmosphere was laid back and very chill. There were a few food trucks serving up food next to the back patio area where you can also play various board games. With the digital/technological revolution, it was nice to experience some good old classic boardgames and random chatter with a few good friends. Check out this monthly even at Verdugo Bar's Website.
