Portrait :: Southern California Lifestyle Photography

         When Valerie contacted me about doing a lifestyle session with her family, I was more than happy to oblige.  I'm all for beautifully posed photos, but there is a peaceful calm about just photographing the norms of everyday life.  Valerie wanted photos of her girls doing what they love, and of course, pictures of their family time together.  This involved getting their hair done, playing, reading, coloring, running around, going for a walk, and ice cream to cap off the day!  Enjoy! :) 

First Birthday Party :: Noah + Alyza

    These two had the most adorable first birthday party.  Their mom Cindy, with the help of Etsy, organized a fun-filled and colorful celebration for them filled with family and friends.  How cute are these outfits?!?!

     There were circus animals that were almost life-sized that made the theme really come alive.

     There was also a caricature artist on hand to make drawings of everyone.  He was amazing as you could really see the resemblance in every picture he drew!

     I don't think anyone left this party hungry.

     These personalized animal cracker boxes were such a cute touch!

Wedding :: Vivian + Jason

Jason and Vivian had a lovely wedding ceremony at The Retreat at Wedgewood. It was a clear warm day, and both the bride and groom were clearly surrounded by all the people who loved them. From what I saw, all the guests were clearly people who have touched their lives and helped shape them into who they are individually, and as a couple. It was an honor to document their day.
